Getting Ready...
This is Rose and Jon's wedding in downtown Lansing. Our photographer captured getting ready photos of each group in separate rooms of the Radisson hotel. Rose and her bridesmaids shared laughs and a champagne toast in anticipation of their special day. We made our way over to the Lansing Center for the ceremony through the connected pedway.
The Ceremony...
The ceremony took place in the Governor's Room of the Lansing Center. This is a unique setting for a ceremony, as the Governor’s Room overlooks the Capitol dome and the Grand River. Rose, Jon and their daughter (Izzy) did a sand ceremony and said their "I do's" After the ceremony, we took some really fun shots of the bridal party by the stained glass windows and on grand staircase.
The Party...
After the couples grand entrance, the evening began with toasts and dinner, followed by the couple first dance. Rose and her father took to the dance floor for a father, daughter dance and that was followed by a mother, son dance and it was an emotional moment. Jon also did a daddy daughter dance, such a sweet moment as well. The guests finished out the evening with dancing and celebrating the new couple.
Our staff at Limelight was honored to be a party of this very special day and wish Rosalinda and Jonathan many happy years of marriage!
