Getting Ready...
Christina and Charles' wedding took place at the Peacock Road Family Farm in Laingsburg, MI. To start the day, we photographed Christina and her bridesmaids getting ready. Shortly after, we were able to capture a very special moment between Christina and her father as they shared a first look. We then hopped into the tractor wagon for a ride over to the ceremony.
The Ceremony...
Christina and Charles had a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Vermillion Creek Wedding Chapel. Christina, Charles and their kids performed a unity sand ceremony to represent the joining of two individuals and the creation of a new union and family. After the ceremony, the newly married couple took a "honeymoon" tractor ride through the property with Farmer Ed. We got a few more photos of the bride and groom and their bridal party before heading off to the reception.
The Party...
The Event Barn is an absolutely picturesque venue, finished with rough cut lumber from ash trees recycled off the farm. Christine and Charles were introduced by our Limelight Wedding Dj and they entered with a roaring applause from their guests! The couple hit the floor for their first dance and that was followed with toasts and a fantastic buffet dinner. The bride and groom shared a dance with their parents for father-daughter and mother-son dances. We wrapped up the evening by taking a few more fun photos of the stunning couple around the property.
